“Bud” as everyone calls her, is an Exercise Physiologist, former 1980 Olympic Swimmer, Ironman Triathlete finishing 12th, Marathon runner, and National & World record holder in the field of swimming.

Ultimate Fitness was her vision and she has been President and Owner since 1987.  For over 30 years, Bud has brought expert Personal Training to hundreds of happy clients in Central Florida.

Bud began swimming at the age of 5 and she became a member of her first National team at the age of 9 but was unable to compete due to an age requirement to be at least 12!

She competed in numerous national and international competitions, participating in her first Olympic trials at age 12. She was ranked among the top 16 female swimmers in the United States even though she was not old enough to be considered for the Olympic team. She went on to compete in every Olympic trial from the age of 12 to 32.

She was a high school all American and received a full scholarship to the University of Alabama, participating on national teams throughout high school and college. While a competitive swimmer, she set 4 world records, 6 American records, 12 national records and more than 20 state records. She was a college all American 4 consecutive years and she competed in the pan American games as well as international and world championships. She holds numerous national and international swimming records.

Bud competed twice in the Ironman Triathlon, which consists of a 2.4 mile open ocean swim, 112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile marathon. She finished both times in the top 20 women and top 100 overall.
